Bixia Yuanjun is a mountain god belief (Taoism) centered on the North China region of mainland China, called "Dongyue Taishan Heavenly Immortal Jade Bixia Yuanjun". The goddess in ancient Chinese myths and legends. Its dojo is in Mount Taishan, Dongyue, the highest of China's Five Sacred Mountains, located in Tai'an City, Shandong Province. The influence of Bixia Yuanjun spread from Tai'an City in Shandong Province and has had a significant impact on the culture of northern China after thousands of years, especially after the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Bixia Yuanjun is called "Dongyue Taishan Heavenly Immortal Jade Lady Bixia Yuanjun", and Taoism is called "Tianxian Jade Lady Bixia Protecting the World Hongji Real Person" and "Tianxian Jade Female Guardian Hongde Bixia Yuanjun". Because he sits in Mount Tai, he is honored as the Bixia Yuanjun, the Virgin of Mount Tai, commonly known as the Empress of Mount Tai, Granny Tai, Granny Tai, Granny Wanshan, etc. Taoism believes that Bixia Yuanjun "blesses all beings, the spirit should be Jiuzhou", "controls the gods of the Yue Mansion, and observes the good and evil in the world". He is an important goddess in Taoism and one of the most influential goddesses in Chinese history.
